Description

SAE is seeking individuals interested in participating in a "Simulation/xIL” task force.

The task force will perform research and assess needs and support for the development of "Simulation/xIL" standards.  Consideration will include FCW and AEB software simulation, virtualization, standardized output, data requirements, ECU validation methods, best practices, and guidelines. 

Its work will be towards the goal of developing a technical document, assess support/needs, and provide recommendations to the Active Safety Systems Standards Committee.

Approximately 1.5 hour in a monthly meeting plus any meeting/J-document development time.

Note:  The task force is specifically seeking individuals with knowledge/background in active safety/ADAS, safety and human factors.
