Description

Help unlock the potential in every child—right in your community.

SAE’s A World In Motion® (AWIM®) program is an inquiry-based learning experience that brings STEM concepts to life, setting students on a path of lifelong learning and discovery. Starting with the youngest learners, from preschool through 8th grade, AWIM combines practical, experiential learning with mentorship from industry volunteers and ongoing training and support for educators to provide equitable access to STEM.

The AWIM program volunteer serves as a resource for teachers and mentor/role model for students. As such, you will have the opportunity to influence and enhance the ways in which our youth are prepared to meet the challenges of the future. For a short-term, flexible time commitment, you will help make learning fun, help students discover the exciting application of science and math principles, and share information about rewarding careers in your chosen profession.

A member of the AWIM team will contact you once there is an opportunity in your area.
