As a volunteer, you will be responsible for mentoring and overseeing students as they navigate the AWIM Challenge. You will build real-world connections to concepts and skills that students are learning and serve as a role model for students by sharing your experience and insights around HMGMA learning extensions. As such, you will have the chance to influence and enhance the ways in which our youth are prepared to meet the challenges of the future. For a short-term, flexible time commitment, you can make learning fun, help students discover the exciting application of science and math principles, and share information about rewarding careers in your chosen profession.
IMPORTANT:
ALL volunteers must complete the required volunteer school clearances and procedures before your scheduled volunteer date.
Volunteers are responsible for emailing teachers, our HMGMGA contact and School Services as early as possible to establish contacts and coordinate on the specific dates and times to attend classes to support.
