SAE is seeking individuals interested in participating on the Gasoline Fuel Injection Standards Committee.

The Gasoline Fuel Injection Standards Committee is responsible for developing and maintaining SAE Standards, Recommended Practice documents and Information reports that apply to automotive gasoline fuel injection systems.

 

This includes the design and testing of any associated fuel system component parts and assemblies for both mechanical and electronic fuel injection systems that are utilized in spark ignition engines.  Areas that are not encompassed include diesel injection systems and system control strategies.  The SAE Gasoline Fuel Injection Standards Committee is comprised of members who have backgrounds with injector manufacturers, automotive OEMs, automotive suppliers, consulting firms, associated government agencies, national laboratories, and other interested parties.

The committee is specifically seeking individuals with knowledge/background in testing practices related to light vehicle gasoline fuel injection systems.

Approximately three (3) hours in committee meeting held very two (2) months plus any J-document development time.
